It’s finally starting to “cool down” here in the valley, with our afternoon temps now in the 90s. Finally we can enjoy the outdoors without melting away!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather or more perfect locations for my shoot with Jody, Christopher, and Kaylie. Grandmas and grandpas on both sides even able to join us! Our session started in Gilbert – heading to meet Christopher’s parents, Linda and Bob, over in their beautiful neighborhood The Islands. A gorgeous river running right up to the homes, palms, green grass, and a great big fountain. We then hopped in the car and trekked down to Maricopa to meet Jodi’s parents, Christine and Earl. They live in a gorgeous neighborhood with more waterfalls than I could count, and green belts as far as the eye could see. It was so much fun to see the ducks serenely swimming through the little creeks flowing from the waterfalls, and we even saw some kissing swans….okay, statues. But they looked SO real!
I had an amazing time with this wonderful family–so down to earth, warm, inviting, and they made my job so so easy. Kaylie is so very sweet, and the perfect little model! She just loved being in front of the camera and had some great poses to show off, AND a pretty little smile to boot!
Colorful outfits, happy people, gorgeous scenery. That’s what I call a successful day in the life of a photographer!
Here are my favorites… and this is going to be a long one, because I couldn’t narrow them down!
